Pilates is a holistic practice that will help you feel stronger, more balanced, and more resilient–both physically and mentally. I provide a safe, friendly, and positive workout space for clients of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds so that they can thrive. I look forward to seeing you in a session!

About Me

My name is Tomoko Yashida and I am a fully certified classical Pilates teacher living in Brooklyn. I was first introduced to Pilates after I moved from Tokyo to NYC with a 4 month old baby. Pilates helped me strengthen my postnatal body and I kept practicing because I noticed that it was also giving me more confidence and building the connection between my mind and body. I strive to make every session safe, fun, and uplifting.

Flexible sessions

In the Studio, In Your Home, or Online

I offer private sessions as well as small group sessions for up to three people. I usually work from studios in Gramercy, Chelsea and the West Village, but also offer in-home sessions. If it’s more convenient, I also lead online sessions tailored for up to three people at a time. I offer instruction in both English and Japanese.
